Taking to the fastest escape route south...

I never realised till I moved to my current location just how much the people in a town can make you hate a place.

Now, you could say it’s just me, however when you hear the same thing mentioned on a daily basis, it’s a bit hard to think I’m the only one.

I know it is ever so clichéd for one generation to say how much of a letdown the next is, but in this case it is so far past proven it's more of an acceptance. No respect, no gratitude and no responsibility. And why I have thought it to be just teenagers and so on, surprise surprise some of their parents are the worst.

In this day and age having a child seems to be the equivalent of having a pay check, and Peter Costello’s tagline from years ago, 'Have one for mum, one for dad and one for country', is running rampant. Problem is, I think some get confused and weren’t sure which father of their brood he meant. After all, when you are four paternity tests in and you still don't know, the more the merrier right?

Use all that money you freeload off of the government and buy a fucking clue.

End Rant.

  1. Couldn't agree with you more. The thing that kills me is that I work hard, pay so much tax and yet can barely afford to pay my bills, let alone live. I feel like I am being punished for trying to better my own life, instead of relying on the government to provide for me and my non-existent offspring. I want my huge flat screen tv too, goddammit.

  2. Actually, scratch that. I don't want a huge tv. But I do want concerts. Can I get a handout for that?

Seriously though, maybe I got off track here. You do realise the solution to your dilema is to move south as soon as humanly possible?

Then you can bitch about me instead. XD

  3. Hectic issue's Alexi... unfortunately I think some of it's our fault for not saying no to the government. Instead we believe things will get better over time they don't as always humans take life for granted and get as much blood out of a stone as they can.

Excellent points though same for rats-ville here.

Ripley I feel for you very much and you too Alexi... just remember not ALL of us have a choice; what I would give to live a normal life for my family and work my butt off instead of receiving benefits. government seem to forget those with disabilities and chuck em on a pension (doesn't fix a thing). but you also see people taking that for granted too the fake fucks that make it hard for people who actually need help. grr.

all in all my opinion is stop having kids and get a job for those who can which is 90% of our population again humanity taking advantage for selfish reasons.

  4. Who I was aiming the post at is those who are completely happy letting back and expecting the goverment to give them handouts... It was never my intention to say anything that you felt was aimed at you Cat. I sorry! :P

It was more about those who just reproduce and expect the goverment to pick up the tab, for everything.

Ripley, exactly. I want a freaking concert handout too!!!! I mean I'm not planning on breeding so I should recieve a substitute, correct?

Also, am finding that the people born in the place I have been talking about, seem to be the worst. I don't think it applies to any other town but this one.

Well, come June, when I move what the hell am I gonna bitch about?!?! Oh noes!! :) No never Ripley... Shall bitch about your hardcore dumpster diving though! :D
